mini: Anything we must know about Olivia?
Jessica: I think you saw her personality at the shoot! She has a crazy big vocabulary and a huge personality. She’s super smart and loves attention.
mini: Lastly, do you have any tips for parents-to-be or new parents?
Jessica: Toddlers are SO rough! I never really understood how much until she was a little over two and started talking back and making demands.
One tip that works for me is to let her make decisions, she likes to pick out her own outfits and accessories. Of course I’ll let her experiment but if we have to go out in public, I lay out two outfits the night before, down to accessories. This way in the morning she gets to “pick” which one and feels like it was her decision.
Otherwise she’ll go everywhere in an Elsa costume and a crown with cowboy boots. I’ll do that with food too, down to which plate she gets or which type of fruit she wants. It really helps her feel like she “gets her way.”
